BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies look to extend a 13-game winning streak Wednesday as they host the Southern Jaguars in a 7 p.m. contest at Ellis Field.
It’s Educator / Teacher Appreciation Night at Ellis Field. Teachers and school administrators who present a valid school ID card can purchase discounted tickets at the group price ($ 3) on game day.

The Aggies are on a three-game winning streak, which began with a 3-1 win over No.9 Clemson. The Maroon & White also claim victories over Sam Houston (5-0) and UTEP (4-1) in the race.
Nine different Aggies have scored goals in 2021, eight of whom have found the net in the last three matches. Kate colvin has scored three goals, a team-high, finding the net in each of the last three matches. Taylor pounds and Maile Hayes have two goals each. Other Aggies scoring one goal apiece include Nathalie Abel, Kendall bates, Carissa Boeckmann, Daria britton, Barbara olivieri and Mia Panté.
Texas A&M enters the fray on a 13-game home streak stretching back to the 2019 campaign. The last time the Maroon & White lost a game at Ellis Field it was a 3-1 loss to Arkansas on October 18, 2019. This is the seventh longest home winning streak in team history and the longest streak since winning 14 consecutive games between October. 2014 and October 2015.
The Aggies and the Jaguars have never met on the football field. The only previous game against a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) opponent for the Aggies was a home win over Grambling (5-0) in the first round of the 2006 NCAA tournament.
