DUBOIS, Wyo. – The National Museum of Military Vehicles won a 2022 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for being among the top 10% of attractions in the world. The award recognizes businesses that have received excellent reviews from travelers around the world on Tripadvisor over the past 12 months.
Guests consistently comment that the museum is spectacular and family-friendly, and that the tributes to American veterans are humbling. “It was an excellent experience. The museum is huge and beautifully designed. There is so much to see. I think it rivals many great museums across the country. Everyone enjoyed it: from our 9-year-old daughter to my 75-year-old parents,” said a Tripadvisor reviewer.
The Military History Museum, which opened in southeast Dubois, Wyoming in August 2020, celebrated its grand opening last May. Inside the 140,000 square foot museum, visitors will find nearly 500 fully restored military vehicles, artillery pieces, warships and aircraft dating from 1897 to the present day.
