Survey methodology
OpenTable has partnered with YouGov on July 19-20, 2022 to survey 1,145 adults (aged 18+) online in the United States, 919 of whom indicated that they were interested in seeking new relationships, whether it was a romantic partner, friend or from a professional contact. Figures have been weighted and are representative of all US adults (ages 18+).

Top 100 Restaurant Methodology
The OpenTable lists of America’s Top 100 Restaurants for a Date, America’s Top 100 Restaurants for a Date, and America’s Top 100 Restaurants for a Business Meeting are generated from over 13, 6 million verified reviews of OpenTable restaurants collected between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022. All restaurants with a minimum “overall” rating and number of qualifying reviews were included for review. The overall score is made up of unique data points, such as overall restaurant rating, user klout, total number of reviews, and regional overall rating. Eligible restaurants were then rated and sorted by percentage of reviews, with “romantic”, “good for groups” and “good for business dining”, respectively, selected as the special feature.
