Rachel from Love Island admits she wishes she had stepped for Aaron while in the villa
Love Island’s Rachel Finni admitted that she wished she had done a play for Aaron Francis while she was in the Mallorcan villa.
The 29-year-old was a late arrival to the series and had to choose whether to pair up with Chuggs Wallis or Brad McClelland.
And the beauty was disappointed when her choice Brad quickly dropped her for Lucinda Strafford when the blonde bombshell made her entrance.
However, Rachel admits that she would have chosen Aaron as her first choice if he had been an option.
Brad and Rachel clashed again when the couple appeared on Love Island: Aftersun on Sunday, but it wasn’t as awkward as it could have been as Rachel appeared via a video link as she isolated herself .
In the open conversation with host Laura Whitmore, Rachel confessed that Aaron was the roommate she loved the most in the villa.
When Laura asked who she would have chosen if she could have chosen one of the boys, Rachel revealed, “Controversial, but I would have chosen Aaron.”
But she also admitted that once she moved into the villa, her crush was a refusal due to her friendship with her then-partner Sharon Gaffka.
Rachel continued, “Aaron and I had some great conversations but it was more about friendship and for me personally Sharon would always have been the priority and that’s why it never would have gone any further.”
The comments followed another tense recoupling as the show heats up. Sunday night’s main edition saw Sharon kick off the meetup series.
And in awkward scenes, Aaron put him in danger with Lucinda after his twinning with new boy Danny Bibby.
Her advances were deflected as Lucinda rejected her attempt to fuck.
This left fans mortified as the cringey swap unfolded. Aaron had taken Lucinda for a chat – much to Danny’s chagrin – moments after the recoupling.
And as he flirted with a storm, he walked over to Lucinda to plant his lips on her, but the shocked beauty dodged him and slipped away.
While Aaron handled the rejection smoothly and said he had no regrets, an enraged Danny confronted him about his “snake” move.
