Watch Potential Viral Video Of Actor Going Bad On “SNL”

In retrospect, Beck Bennett’s hair might be the first clue that something is wrong. Bennett is Saturday Night Livethe actor of choice for playing pompous types of alpha males – though the show found a rich vein of humor in the moments he played against the guy. So a skit that opens with Bennett playing a soft-haired actor warming up to make a big social media statement is going to have an element of cognitive dissonance right off the bat.

This is the case of the sketch “Enough Is Enough”, where the actor of Bennett is preparing to deliver a multitude of general criticisms against the presidency of Donald Trump. The joke here is that Bennett’s character thinks he’s telling the truth to power; in fact, he makes criticisms that were already evident in the last presidential election.

Alternately? Many people deliver passionate political diatribes; most of them aren’t visibly shirtless when they do. They don’t end up asking their followers to tag various A-List celebrities, either. Bennett’s character may have more in common with the guy from “Threw It On the Ground” than he thinks.

Most of the skit involves the actor in the face of the video’s growing fallout – mostly involving people telling him to take it down. With one memorable exception, Bennett is alone on screen; the skit looks like a descendant of one of the “At Home” skits that aired earlier this year.

Like last week’s “Future Ghost”, “Enough Is Enough” takes a solid (if unspectacular) premise and ends on a high note. The less said about the conclusion of this one, the better – but Bennett’s hapless actor saga takes an unexpected and hilarious turn before the skit ends.
